5th December 2025 - In a heartwarming gesture of community support, Mr. David Anyenogu Walter Hormenu Mawulolo, former Chairman of the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency, marked this year’s Farmers’ Day by celebrating with widows in the constituency.
The event took place at the Widows’ Center in Papam/Saisi, bringing together 65 widows who were the honored guests of the day. As part of the celebration, each widow received maize and two bags of charcoal, intended to support them in starting small-scale charcoal businesses.
The program was not just about giving; it was a day of joy and fellowship. Attendees were treated to a festive atmosphere with food and drinks, allowing the widows to share moments of happiness and camaraderie. Many expressed their gratitude, noting that this was the first time they had received such thoughtful support.
